Consumer Price Index / Inflation Aceh Province July 2019

Deflation in Aceh Province (Combined 3 Cities) was caused by a decline in the consumer price index for expenditure groups, deflation of 0.74 percent and deflation of transportation, communication & financial services 0.34 percent. While the group that experienced an increase in index was Education, Recreation & Sports inflation of 1.48 percent, Clothing inflation of 0.74 percent, Health inflation of 0.73 percent, Housing, Water, Electricity, Gas & Fuel inflation of 0.07 percent, and Finished Food, Beverages, Cigarettes & Tobacco inflation of 0.04 percent.

"Year on year" inflation (July 2019 against July 2018) for Banda Aceh City was 2.44 percent, Lhokseumawe City 1.84 percent, Meulaboh City 3.87 percent and Aceh Province 2.45 percent.

The core component for Aceh Province in July 2019 experienced inflation of 0.27 percent, the component whose Government Regulated Price was deflation of 0.31 percent, and the volatile component experienced deflation of 0.71 percent.
