Consumer Price Index / Inflation Aceh Province August 2019

Deflation that occurred in Aceh Province (Combined 3 Cities) was caused by a decrease in the consumer price index for expenditure groups: deflation Foodstuffs 0.66 percent, Transportation, Communications & Financial Services deflation 0.47 percent, and Foods, Beverages, Cigarettes & Tobacco deflation of 0.01 percent. While the groups that experienced an increase in index were 1.07 percent inflation clothing, Housing, Water, Electricity, Gas & Fuel inflation 0.42 percent, Education, Recreation & Sports inflation 0.12 percent. Meanwhile the Health group did not experience changes in the index.

Year on year inflation (August 2019 to August 2018) for Banda Aceh City was 2.01 percent, Lhokseumawe City 1.46 percent, Meulaboh City 3.84 percent and Aceh Province 2.08 percent.
