Consumer Price Index / Inflation Aceh Province March 2020

Inflation that occurred in Aceh Province (Combined 3 Cities) occurred due to an increase in prices as indicated by an increase in most of the expenditure group index, namely: the Personal Care and Other Services Group 1.53 percent, the Food, Beverage and Tobacco Group 1.40 percent, Health Group 0.88 percent, Clothing and Footwear Group 0.43 percent, Recreation, Sports and Culture Group 0.36 percent, Food and Beverage / Restaurant Supply Group 0.22 percent, Household Equipment, Equipment and Routine Maintenance Group 0.21 percent; and the Housing, Water, Electricity and Household Fuel Group 0.05 percent. While the groups that experienced a decline in the index were the Transportation Group 0.13 percent and the Information, Communication and Financial Services Group 0.05 percent. Meanwhile, the Education group did not experience changes in the index.

The inflation rate for the calendar year March 2020 (March 2020 to December 2019) for Meulaboh City was 1.87 percent, Banda Aceh City was 1.92 percent, Lhokseumawe City 1.20 percent and Aceh Province 1.71 percent.

Year on year inflation (March 2020 to March 2019) for Meulaboh City was 5.49 percent, Banda Aceh City was 3.72 percent, Lhokseumawe City was 3.36 percent and Aceh Province was 3.84 percent.
