Consumer Price Index / Inflation Aceh Province January 2020

Inflation that occurred in the Province of Aceh (Combined 3 Cities) occurred because of an increase in prices as indicated by an increase in most of the expenditure group index, namely: Health Group 1.76 percent; Recreation, Sports and Culture Group 1.39 percent; The Food, Beverage and Tobacco Group 1.37 percent; Personal Care Group and Other Services 1.34 percent; Food and Beverage / Restaurant Supply Group 0.78 percent; Clothing and Footwear group 0.54 percent; Household Equipment, Equipment and Routine Maintenance Group 0.51 percent; Information, Communication and Financial Services Group and Education Group respectively 0.02 percent. While the group that experienced deflation was the Transportation Group by 0.25 percent. Meanwhile the Housing, Water, Electricity, Gas, and Household Fuel Groups did not experience a change in index.

The inflation rate for the January 2020 calendar year (January 2020 to December 2019) for Meulaboh City was 1.44 percent, Banda Aceh City was 0.77 percent, Lhokseumawe City was 0.08 percent and Aceh Province was 0.66 percent.

Year on year inflation (January 2020 to January 2019) for Meulaboh City was 4.63 percent, Banda Aceh City 1.81 percent, Lhokseumawe City 1.63 percent, and Aceh Province 2.13 percent.
