Consumer Tendency Index (ITK) Quarter III-2019 and Estimated Quarter IV - Aceh Province 2019

In the third quarter of 2019, consumers in Aceh Province expressed optimistic perceptions that the economic condition was better than in the second quarter of 2019. The Consumer Tendency Index (ITK) in the third quarter of 2019 in the Province of Aceh was 106.88.

The level of consumer optimism is influenced by the increasing perception of optimism in its components. The current income index of 108.08 shows that the majority of Aceh's population perceives that in the third quarter their income was better than the previous quarter. For the index component, the effect of inflation on consumption was 104.05, meaning that there was no effect of inflation on consumption of the population of Aceh in the third quarter. While the consumption volume index component of 107.63 means that the majority of Aceh's population perceives that there is an increase in the level of consumption volume in the third quarter compared to the previous quarter.

For the estimation of the fourth quarter of 2019, consumer perceptions in Aceh Province indicate that economic conditions are likely to improve as indicated by the estimated value of ITK for the upcoming quarter IV-2019 of 102.92.
