The Love Statistics Village or better known as the Cantik Village is a form of BPS responsibility in providing sectoral statistical guidance to village officials. The aim of this program is to increase literacy, awareness and the active role of village/subdistrict officials and the community in carrying out statistical activities, standardize statistical data management to maintain the quality and comparability of statistical indicators, optimize the use and utilization of statistical data so that development programs in villages/subdistricts are right on target. , establishing statistical agents at the village/sub-district level.
On Thursday 29 August 2024, BPS Subulussalam City held a socialization regarding the activities of the Cantik Village to Lae Oram Village Officials, Simpang Kiri District. This activity was welcomed by the Head of Lae Oram Village, Mr. Zakaria, who invited all village officials, namely the hamlet head, head of village affairs, village cadres and village operators. The results of the socialization are in the form of an initial description of the identification of the potential and obstacles that exist in Lae Oram Village. The results of this identification were then discussed again in the FGD for Beautiful Village Development which was held in the Subulussalam City BPS Hall on Wednesday, 04 September 2024. The event was opened by the Head of Subulussalam City BPS, Ir. Sudariah also invited the DPMK and Simpang Kiri District Head to accommodate aspirations and enrich the scope of village discussions.
Next, the sectoral team will finalize the results of the discussion and begin carrying out the coaching process. Hopefully this joint effort can bring good changes to Lae Oram Village in particular and other villages in general.
