Subulussalam - In improving service quality, BPS Subulussalam held a Focus Group Discussion (FGD) on Public Service Standards on Monday, November 15, 2021. The activity which took place in the BPS Subulussalam Hall Room was attended by Diskominfosantik and Bappedalitbang of Subulussalam City; Data Operators from SKPD of BPS data users; and the general public as users of BPS services.
The implementation of the Service Standards Discussion FGD is based on the Regulation of the Minister for Empowerment of State Apparatus and Bureaucratic Reform No. 15 of 2014 concerning Service Standard Guidelines. BPS as a public service provider is required to compile, determine, and apply Service Standards for each type of service. In its stages, the organizer is obliged to involve the community and related parties so that the Service Standards can be known and agreed upon with service users. It is hoped that the implementation of services within the BPS Subulussalam will be better and can make it easier for users.
Public services held within the BPS environment are the Integrated Statistical Services, where the Standards for Integrated Statistical Services within the Central Statistics Agency are stipulated in the Head of BPS Regulation No. 78 of 2020. The implementation of the Integrated Statistical Service Standards within the Central Statistics Agency is the implementation of the duties and functions of the Agency. Center for Statistics. Currently, the services provided by the BPS Subulussalam are available in the form of direct (offline) and indirect (online) services. Offline services means coming directly to the Integrated Statistical Service (PST) and online services through WhatsApp-based applications and the Live Chat feature on the BPS Subulussalam official website.
In the implementation of the FGD, BPS Subulussalam together with invited agencies discussed the Public Service Standards prepared by BPS based on Head of BPS regulation No. 78 of 2020. There were 8 (eight) Public Service Standards that were discussed and discussed together. Based on the results of the discussion, suggestions/inputs were obtained regarding service requirements, timeframe, and handling complaints for the BPS Subulussalam Service Standards. The activity was ended by the signing of the Minutes of Discussion signed by all invitees and the signing of the Service Declaration by the Head of BPS Subulussalam in accordance with PermenPANRB No. 15 of 2014.
